Porsche Carrera Cup Germany - Race Report Round 1 2020
BLACK FALCON and Carlos Rivas won the race in the Pro-Am class at the season opener of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. In the 45-minute sprint race on the legendary Circuit of the 24 Heures in Le Mans, the reigning Pro-Am champion delivered a perfect performance in the most difficult conditions. After a rain shower in the night, the 50-plus-strong mixed field of Carrera Cup Germany and Porsche Carrera Cup France completed the first kilometers in wet conditions this weekend during the formation lap. BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR driver Rivas had previously dominated the Pro-Am class on Friday in two free practice sessions and one qualifying session on a dry track and started from pole position in the class. After an additional formation lap to acclimatize to the track conditions, the race started with about 40 minutes remaining. Within a very short time, spectacular slipstream duels and close fights developed. Several safety car phases caused the field to close up again and again after a few laps at race speed. Rivas focused on his race and brought his 485 hp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, which is wrapped in an "art car" design this season, to the finish line as an outstanding overall 26 and as winner in the Pro-Am-Class of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.

BLACK FALCON celebrates a premiere: for the first time in the team's history, the squad from Meuspath starts at a race on the legendary Circuit des 24 Heures in Le Mans. In the context of the world-famous 24-hour race, the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland kicks off its season this weekend (18-19 September). This year BLACK FALCON will once again be competing in Germany's fastest one-make cup and will be competing in the Carrera Cup together with Carlos Rivas for the fourth year in succession. The Luxembourger is the reigning champion in the ProAm classification, the class for non-professional racing drivers within the cup, which is fiercely contested by youngsters and professionals, and has been a permanent member of the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR since BLACK FALCON entered the Carrera Cup in 2017. At the Le Mans race, Rivas' 485 hp Porsche 991 GT3 will bear the starting number 106 instead of the regular starting number 6.
Nürburgring Endurance Series - Race Report Round 5 2020
BLACK FALCON celebrated two class victories at the six-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) last Saturday (29.08.) The IDENTICA Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR SP PRO with the starting number 350 was once again the best placed vehicle outside the GT3 class and took the impressive 22nd overall position in the top-class field, leaving behind a third of all 33 GT3 cars on the grid. In the SP8T, the number 155 TEXTAR Mercedes-AMG GT4 celebrated its fifth class victory in a row and remains unbeaten in the 2020 season. At the same time, the AMG GT4 secured the outstanding 27th overall position at the NLS season highlight and completed the perfect team result as the second best car outside the GT3 class.
Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie - Preview Round 5 2020
This Saturday (29.08.2020) BLACK FALCON is starting the second half of the season of the Nürburgring Long Distance Series (NLS) featuring three cars. At the traditional NLS season highlight, the 6-hour race, the team from Meuspath will field the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR SP-PRO and one Mercedes-AMG GT4. The fifth round of NLS is the last chance for teams and drivers to prepare for the 24h race on the Nürburgring at the end of September under racing conditions.
Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie - Race Report Round 4 2020
BLACK FALCON continued its winning streak in the SP8T class at the fourth round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS). Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana and Mike Stursberg pushed the Mercedes-AMG GT4 (#155) up to 15th place overall and secured the fourth consecutive SP8T class victory for the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR. In the CUP3 class the team from Meuspath made a premiere: For the first time the Porsche Cayman GT4 (#950), which was acquired at the beginning of the season, took part in the NLS. In the highly competitive "Cayman GT4 Trophy" class, the team crossed the finish line in seventh place and thus celebrated a successful debut. The Porsche 991 GT3 Cup MR SP-PRO (#350) did not see the chequered flag for the first time this year.
