BLACK FALCON is one of the most professional and successful racing teams in international motorsport. 
From our base right next to the Nürburgring, we field racing cars ranging from GT4 and Cup cars right through to GT3s. As our motorsport program continues to grow, so do the demands on our workshop operations.
We are therefore looking for an experienced Workshop Manager or Lead Automotive Technician who is ready to take responsibility,
lead our workshop team in day-to-day operations, and at the same time work hands-on with our race cars. We are explicitly not looking for a pure workshop manager. You should enjoy taking responsibility, organizing workflows and
ensuring high-quality standards – but just as much enjoy getting hands-on and working directly on the cars.

Your responsibilities 

• Operational management and coordination of our workshop team
• Planning, managing and prioritizing daily workshop activities
• Ensuring structured and timely preparation of our race cars 
• Hands-on involvement in the build, rebuild, maintenance and repair of our race cars
• Technical diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
• Implementing vehicle set-ups and technical modifications in close collaboration with our engineers
• Monitoring and ensuring our quality and work standards
• Coordinating maintenance, overhaul and repair work
• Managing tools, spare parts, consumables and workshop equipment
• Ensuring a clean, organized and efficient workshop environment and workflow

Your profile 

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally as an Automotive Technician or Automotive Mechanic
• Further qualifications as a Certified Automotive Technician or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a workshop environment 
• Experience in motorsport, race car engineering / building or high-performance vehicles is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and a very high standard of quality
• Extensive hands-on experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on mentality - you want to do more than just coordinate; you want to get involved and 
  work on the cars yourself
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
• Valid Category B driving license
• English language skills and a trailer or truck driving licence are an advantage

We are looking for a Workshop Manager who combines leadership and responsibility with hands-on, operational work.

You should be able to coordinate the workshop's tasks in the morning, make technical decisions and ensure
that our vehicles are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

At the same time, we expect you to remain an active part of the operational team:
building race cars, troubleshooting issues, replacing components, repairing damage and working 
together with your colleagues to find solutions.

Your responsibilities 

• Building, modifying and optimising racing cars
• Preparing our GT4, Cup and GT3 cars for races and test sessions
• Providing technical support during national and international racing events 
• Maintenance, repair and overhaul work
• Implementing and adjusting vehicle set-ups
• Diagnosing and maintaining vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• Repairing accident damage, right through to complete rebuilds
• Preparing spare parts, tools and technical equipment
• Working closely with engineers, drivers and the entire race team

Your profile 

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally as an automotive mechatronics technician or motor vehicle mechanic
• Experience in motorsport or in building high-performance vehicles would be an advantage 
• Very good technical understanding and high standards of quality 
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Reliability, resilience and flexibility with regard to working hours 
• Strong team spirit and loyalty 
• Willingness to work at weekends and travel
• Catergory B driving licence
• Knowledge of English, as well as a trailer and truck driving licence, would be an advantage

• Drafting and publishing job advertisements

HR Administration & Contracts

• Confident handling of employment law, contracts and HR processes 
• Experience in recruitment and employee support 
• A structured, reliable and discreet approach to work 
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and good communication skills
• Initiative and a hands-on approach

• Fluent in German and English
