BLACK FALCON enters the hot phase of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. This weekend (03.-05.08.) will be the third race weekend of the year taking place at the Nürburgring. The event is the prelude to a mammoth programme: the Carrera Cup will run three events within three weeks - two of them on different track layouts of the Nürburgring, followed by a round at Zandvoort in the Netherlands.
After a gruelling 24 hours, BLACK FALCON have successfully brought home all three of their Mercedes-AMG GT3s entries to the finish at Round 4 of the 2018 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The team narrowly missed out on an overall podium with their Pro-class #4 AMG but took third place in the Silver Cup following an incredible recovery drive for the #6 car.
This weekend, BLACK FALCON is going to face the most competitive GT race in the world. The 2018 edition of the infamous Spa 24 Hours is the 70th running of the prestigious race and round four of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The race features a roster of winners that reads like a who’s-who of motorsports greats running 65 cars in five different classes, half of them being Pro entries. The Spa 24 is the race that every team and driver wants on their CV, and BLACK FALCON will be on maximum attack in Belgium to achieve the best results possible. Points are available after 6, 12 and 24 hours, so it will be a pivotal weekend for the team’s championship hopes – to consolidate their existing lead in Silver Cup, further improve their position in Pro-Am and for the #4 crew to bring themselves back up to the sharp end in the Pro class.
BLACK FALCON crossed the finish line as the winners of the SP10 and V6 classes at last Saturday's fourth VLN round (07.07.2018). The Mercedes-AMG GT4 of Stefan Karg, Fidel Leib and Moritz Oberheim celebrated the second victory of this VLN season, while Ronny Lethmate and Miguel Toril achieved their first class victory in the Porsche 981 Cayman in 2018. The Porsche 911 Carrera of Alexander Akimenkov, Christoph Hoffmann, Uwe Lebens and Vasilii Selivanov also finished the race on the podium and finished third in the V6 class.
