The final round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS), the 2. NLS Sportwarte-Trophy, marked the end of the most successful season in Team BLACK FALCON’s history to date. Throughout 2026, the team from Meuspath competed in five different classes and, thanks to a convincing performance by the entire team, managed to win all of them by the end of the year. In addition to the two championship titles in the SP9 PRO-AM and SP9 AM classes, which Team BLACK FALCON had already secured ahead of schedule after NLS 9, they were also crowned 2026 champions in the CUP2, AT2 and SP10 classes at the season finale.
In the CUP2 class, the BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN were locked in a thrilling and unique battle for class victory right up to the very end of the season finale, a race that also decided the championship. After a truly nail-biting finale, Alexander Hardt, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski crossed the finish line in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup #900 just 0.284 seconds behind their title rivals, however, the latter were handed a 30-second time penalty, meaning that the BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN was awarded the class victory and, with it, the championship in the CUP2 class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). However, due to a protest lodged by a competitor against the time penalty imposed by race control, the result remains provisional at the time of this press release. In the overall class standings for the day, Hardt, Hites and Koslowski secured an impressive eighth place overall, which once again highlights their strong pace during the race. Koslowski can also celebrate winning the 2026 NLS Junior Trophy as the best young driver.
Jimmy Broadbent, Steve Brown, Misha Charoudin and Manuel Metzger once again delivered a flawless performance in the NLS 10 at the wheel of the BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup #632, securing not only victory in the AT2 class but also a strong 17th place overall. Following a consistently strong season, the quartet of drivers have thus also secured the class winners’ trophy as well as the team trophy in the AT2 class.
For AV Racing by BLACK FALCON, the 2026 season ended with yet another class victory in the SP10 AM. Alexandru Vasilescu shared the driving duties in the BMW M4 GT4 #177 with the two Americans, Michael Skeen and Mark Smith, over the final weekend. The trio of drivers put in a flawless race and were rewarded in the end with a strong fourth place in the SP10’s overall standings for the day. In the championship, Alexandru Vasilescu has thus not only secured the title in the SP10 AM category, but also overall in the SP10 class – an impressive achievement by the AV Racing by BLACK FALCON driver. In the NLS overall standings, the team’s BMW M4 GT4 also ranked as the fourth-best car in the entire field. In addition to the titles in the SP10 year-end standings, Vasilescu also secured the title of best Gentlemen driver (over 50 years old) in the entire NLS field.
Meanwhile, the two South Koreans, Changuk Lee and Jungwoo Lee, who were competing for BLACK FALCON for the first time, finished second in the SP10 class at the NLS 10 in the BMW M4 GT4 #180, and were thus also delighted to celebrate a podium finish to round off the season.
The BLACK FALCON EAE team did not line up for the NLS season finale with the Porsche 911 GT3 R #5, as the team had already secured both the drivers’ and team titles in the SP9 AM class at NLS 9 – thereby achieving its ambitious season target ahead of schedule.

Alexander Böhm (Founder and Managing Director of BLACK FALCON): “We look back on 2026 with great pride and joy, as it was the best season in our team’s history, spanning more than 20 years. To be able to celebrate championship titles at the end of the year in all five classes in which we competed throughout the year is something truly special and truly unprecedented. My thanks go to all our partners, riders and team members who contributed to this great success and this sensational season.”
Christoph Henkel (Managing Director of BLACK FALCON): “At the start of the season, our aim was to consistently be among the frontrunners in all classes. We managed to do that race after race – all in all, simply an incredible season! The five championship titles are a testament to, and a reward for, the fantastic work of the entire team. We now have a longer break from racing ahead of us before the new season gets underway again on 20 March 2027. We will make the most of this time and prepare thoroughly for the 2027 season, in which – as much as I can reveal at this stage – we will offer our drivers, partners and fans even more excitement and action than we did this year.”
