- Hits: 25

At the second round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) – the 2026 NLS season opener, which had been postponed by a week – BLACK FALCON achieved the best start to a season in the team’s 20-year history. Starting with seven cars across five classes, the team secured five class victories and third place in the overall standings: the very first outing of the new Porsche 911 GT3 R from 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON was rewarded with third place in the overall standings and victory in the SP9 PRO-AM class. The sister car of the BLACK FALCON Team EAE was also extremely successful: In addition to 16th place overall, the driver trio secured victory in the SP9 AM class. Team LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON fought its way to victory in the CUP2 class with the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup on its very first outing in the highly competitive Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). The BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC also achieved a debut victory in the AT2 class, in which BLACK FALCON competed for the first time since the team was founded in 2006. Furthermore, AV Racing by BLACK FALCON secured victory in the AM classification of the SP10 class. Overall, all seven cars entered crossed the finish line with top placings after the four-hour race. The 100% finish rate capped off the best-ever NLS season opener for BLACK FALCON.
48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON
Following two highly successful years in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring CUP2 (PETN), a new chapter began for the 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON team at the 58th ADAC Barbarossa Prize with their brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R (#48): Patrick Assenheimer, Tobias Müller and Dylan Pereira delivered a more than convincing debut, treating the 25,000 spectators lining the Nürburgring Nordschleife to a thrilling spectacle of intense battles right from the start. After four hours, the trio initially crossed the finish line in fourth place overall, but moved up to third place following the subsequent disqualification of the winner. In the end, they were just 4.2 seconds behind the eventual overall winner, which further underlines their impressive performance. Assenheimer, Müller and Pereira also secured an unchallenged victory in the SP9 PRO-AM class.
BLACK FALCON Team EAE
BLACK FALCON Team EAE picked up right where they left off last year with the Porsche 911 GT3 R at the start of the season: at the top of the SP9 AM class. Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana and Mike Stursberg, who are competing this year with start number 5, were also honoured on the overall winners’ podium as class winners. Furthermore, the BLACK FALCON Team EAE finished 16th in the overall standings, which is a more than impressive achievement given the field of 26 top-class GT3 cars.
Team LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON
Team LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON, making its debut, also enjoyed a perfect start: following a dramatic battle with an extremely close finish, Ryan Harrison and Leon Wassertheurer, alongside BLACK FALCON newcomer Raphael Rennhofer, secured the opening victory in the CUP2 class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). The youngsters, who all belong to the Porsche Talent Pool 2026, thus demonstrated their immense talent, as this is the first full season for all three drivers in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#902).
BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN
Having secured the ‘CUP2 PRO-AM Champion’ title in the 2025 Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring CUP2 (PETN), BLACK FALCON Team Timmermann has moved up to the PRO category of the CUP2 class in this season’s PETN. They immediately caused a stir in the morning qualifying session: with a lap time of 8:07.795 minutes, Alexander Hardt secured pole position in the CUP2 class for the #900 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. In doing so, he rewarded the hard work of the team, who had successfully repaired the car overnight following a practice crash on Friday evening. In the four-hour race, Hardt and his two co-drivers, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski, finished fourth in class. The trio thus secured valuable points for the PETN championship at the start of the new season.
BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC
BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC kicked off the new season with a class victory in the AT2 class (alternative fuels class). 'Jimmy Broadbent', Steve Brown and “Misha Charoudin”, who were still racing a BMW M4 GT4 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife last season, coped well with the significantly more powerful Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#632) and, together with Nordschleife specialist Manuel Metzger, delivered a flawless performance. Particularly noteworthy: overall, the team was the sixth-fastest GT3 Cup car on the grid, leaving several established PETN teams behind them. The quartet of drivers aims to build on this in the upcoming races.
AV Racing by BLACK FALCON
AV Racing by BLACK FALCON also enjoyed a positive start to the season with both BMW M4 GT4 EVOs. The Romanian duo of Sergiu Nicolae and Alexandru Vasilescu, alongside American driver ‘Russ Turner’ (#177 BMW M4 GT4 EVO), finished second in the SP10 class, which also secured the trio victory in the AM category. The sister car, driven by the three Americans Judson Holt, David Ogburn and Denny Stripling (#180 BMW M4 GT4 EVO), crossed the finish line in third place in the AM category and fourth overall in the SP10 standings. The drivers thus gained valuable experience in preparation for the 24-hour race.
