BLACK FALCON successfully defends title at the 992 Endurance Cup in Spa-Francorchamps
- Hits: 101
At the 12-hour race of the “992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport” on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the long-established BLACK FALCON team wrote an impressive chapter in motorsport history. With a commanding performance over the entire distance, the team from Meuspath not only secured another overall victory, as it did in 2024, but also a one-two finish in the amateur class.
Overall victory for 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON
With the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup bearing start number 48 and driven by Tobias Müller, Dylan Pereira, Gabriele Piana, and Carlos Rivas, the 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON team drove a controlled and flawless race. After qualifying in third place, the crew held its own in a high-class field for 12 hours, made the necessary moves at crucial stages of the race and turned a perfect team performance into a well-deserved overall victory and title defense in the 992 Endurance Cup.
Double victory in the amateur class
In addition to the overall victory, BLACK FALCON celebrated further successes at Spa-Francorchamps:
BLACK FALCON Team EAE achieved class victory in the AM-B class of the FIA Bronze category with an all-Brazilian line-up of Joao Barbosa, William Freire, and Joao Goncalves in the #121 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. Second place in this class went to the all-Brazilian DENER MOTORSPORT by BLACK FALCON team with the #123 car and drivers Nelson Monteiro Junior, Leonardo Sanchez, Israel Salmen, and Gustavo Zanon.
The sister car of DENER MOTORSPORT by BLACK FALCON with start number 100, driven by Francisco Horta, double starter Nelson Monteiro Junior, Rouman Ziemkiewicz, and Vinicius Quadros, had to retire from the race after just under two-thirds of the race distance and while on course for a podium finish following a collision through no fault of their own while lapping.
Victory on legendary terrain
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is considered one of the most demanding race tracks in the world: long full-throttle passages, fast corners such as “Eau Rouge” or “Blanchimont,” and often unpredictable weather conditions have made the Ardennes area a testing ground for man and machine for decades.
Comments on the success
Christoph Henkel, CEO of BLACK FALCON:
“A victory at Spa is always something special. This track is legendary—it demands everything from drivers, engineers, and mechanics. The fact that we not only won here, but also secured several podium places, makes me incredibly proud. It is the well-deserved reward for a perfect team performance.”
Alexander Böhm, Managing Director and Founder of BLACK FALCON:
“This success at Spa is not only the result of a strong sporting performance, but also an expression of our team culture: together with our drivers and our partners from industry and business, we want to celebrate national and international successes and live out our passion for motorsport. The great results of the past weekend were only possible thanks to the perfect interaction between drivers, partners, and every single team member.
