BLACK FALCON still in top form: class victories for Team ZIMMERMANN, podium places for Team BILSTEIN, 48 LOSCH Motorsport and AV Racing

BLACK FALCON Porsche 992 GT3 Cup ZIMMERMANN

The Eifel showed its best side at the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS): Spring-like temperatures of around 15 degrees and bright sunshine ensured perfect conditions on both days of the event. In picture perfect weather, all of the six BLACK FALCON cars that started finished on the podium, two of them on the top step of the podium.

Another double victory for BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN Second class victory in a row for the #70 in SP7
BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN won the SP7 class for the second time in a row. After Axel Sartingen had already been successful in the NLS2 with the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS (#70), teammate David Barst celebrated his first class victory on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in the third NLS race.

CUP2-Pro/Am: Championship leader #900 takes second win of the season
BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN also continued its winning streak in the CUP2 Pro/Am class. Alex Hardt, Peter Ludwig and Maik Rosenberg won again in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#900) and thus extended their lead in the Pro/Am standings of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN), which they have held since NLS2.

Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON: Second in class again
The BMW M4 GT4 Evo (#150) of Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON, driven by Jimmy Broadbent, Steve Brown, Misha Charoudin and Manuel Metzger, took second place in the highly competitive SP8T class. As in NLS2, the quartet delivered a thrilling race right up to the last lap - in the end, they were only around 14 seconds short of class victory. Nevertheless, the satisfaction of another faultless team performance prevailed.

48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON: Strong scoring thanks to pole and fastest lap
The Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#948) - driven by Tobias Müller, Noah Nagelsdiek and Carlos Rivas - secured pole position in the highly competitive CUP2 class in qualifying. The team also showed strong pace in the race and set the fastest race lap. After a very good first third of the race, however, the trio was set back by various Code 60 and double-yellow phases and ultimately had to settle for second place. Thanks to the two bonus points for pole and fastest lap, the team collected a total of 19 points - just one less than the class winner - and is still within striking distance in the championship standings.

AV Racing by BLACK FALCON: Successful premiere at the third NLS round
After BLACK FALCON had already entered a BMW M4 GT4 for AV Racing several times last year, the “AV Racing by BLACK FALCON” team celebrated its race premiere at NLS3 and had a perfect debut: Podium for the #162 in SP10
The BMW M4 GT4 (#162), driven by Axel König, Norbert Schneider and Alex Vasilescu, achieved a podium finish in the SP10 class at the first attempt. For König and Schneider, it was their first race outing with BLACK FALCON on the Nordschleife since 2019, while Vasilescu returned to the wheel in NLS racing conditions for the first time since the 2024 24-hour race. The trio deserved third place thanks to a flawless performance.

Heartbeat finale for the #964 in the CUP3
The Porsche Cayman GT4 CS (#964), driven by Boris Hrubesch and Ryan Harrison, started as a guest entrant in the CUP3 class of Porsche Cayman GT4 cars. After a flawless performance by Hrubesch and Harrison over the entire distance, Harrison managed a spectacular overtaking maneuver on the last lap in the final corner, which secured the duo sixth place in the CUP3 class. The two drivers were not classified in PRO, PRO/AM or AM due to the guest start, but would have been an AM crew according to the organizer's specifications. Thanks to Harrison's strong maneuver, the duo unofficially took third place in the AM classification. Just 0.052 seconds separated the two cars at the finish - a real thriller right up to the last second of the race.

BLACK FALCON Team EAE: Accident prevents start
An unfortunate incident overshadowed the start of the weekend for BLACK FALCON Team EAE: The Porsche 992 GT3 R (#48) crashed on Friday morning during testing on a liquid lane in the Wehrseifen area. The driver was not at fault for the accident and fortunately remained uninjured. The vehicle was so badly damaged that it was not possible to take part in the race on Saturday. Reconstruction is underway - the #48 will be back on the grid at the 24h Qualifiers.

The fourth and fifth races of the Nürburgring Endurance Series season will take place in just two weeks: On May 24 and 25, the “ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers” weekend will take place, offering the last testing opportunity under race conditions before the 24h race. BLACK FALCON will once again be at the start with a strong line-up of five cars.
