Porsche Carrera Cup Germany Rounds 1 & 2 // Nürburgring Endurance Series Round 3 - Preview

This weekend, BLACK FALCON faces the second of five double events of the 2021 season. The team from Meuspath will be fielding a total of seven cars at two different race tracks. At the first race weekend of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland in Spa-Francorchamps, Loek Hartog and Carlos Rivas start the new season with two brand new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992). The third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) will be running at the same time. BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA competes in the 62nd EIBACH ADAC ACAS Cup with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR SP PRO, while BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR enters the race with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR, a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 MR and two Mercedes-AMG GT4s.

Porsche Carrera Cup Germany - Rounds 1 & 2 in Spa
BLACK FALCON is eagerly awaiting the season opener of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. Rounds 1 and 2 will be held in Spa-Francorchamps as support races of the Sports Car World Championship (WEC). After numerous days of testing, the team from Meuspath now looks forward to its first race with the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992). At the wheel of the number 4 car, Loek Hartog will make his racing debut for the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR. The 18-year-old Dutchman is on the hunt for points in the overall and rookie classifications this year. The sister car that features a unique comic design - driven by 44-year-old Luxembourger Carlos Rivas - will be competing in the ProAm classification. After two ProAm championship titles with BLACK FALCON in 2019 and 2020, the goal is now to follow up with the title hat trick with the new car.

Round 3 of the Nürburgring Endurance Series
BLACK FALCON will again be on the grid with five cars at the third round of the season. In the SP-PRO class, BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA will send the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR (#350) with Noah Nagelsdiek, Florian Naumann and Hendrik von Danwitz into the race.
For the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR two Mercedes and two Porsche cars will be used. The AMG GT4 with the starting number 140 is shared by Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana and Mike Stursberg. Marco Müller, Stephan Rösler and Ersin Yücesan take turns at the wheel of the sister car with start number 141. Both cars will again start in the SP8T class, in which the vehicles are allowed to start with less weight and more than 500 hp, in contrast to the GT4 class SP10. In the SP7 class for cars with up to 4 liters of displacement, the team will field another Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR (#57), driven by Paul Harkema and Niels Langeveld. The BLACK FALCON line-up is completed by the Porsche Cayman GT4 (#161), which is entered in the SP10 class for cars according to SRO GT4 regulations. The Porsche in the yellow and black TEXTAR design is shared by "Iceman" and Tobias Wahl.
