Meuspath. The 47th Adenauer ADAC Deutsche Payment-Trophy was the return of the BLACK FALCON Team to the Nurburgring Nordschleife after the overall victory at the 24h-race four weeks ago. The team entered the fourth running of VLN´s 2016 season with five cars. In a tough race, Alexander Toril and Tim Scheerbarth scored the class victory in SP7 for BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction and finished in a brilliant sixth place overall.

The qualifying in the morning started with a delay of one hour and ten minutes because heavy fog reduced the sight too much. At 9.40 am the 143 participants went out on a wet track. For the Mercedes-AMG GT3 with number 7, which was driven by „Gerwin“ and Manuel Metzger, the racing day ended unfortunately right after the qualifying. A technical issue prohibited a start in the race, which begun after two formation laps at 13.15 because of the permanent rain.

For the four Porsche of the BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction things went better: The Porsche 911 GT3 BF #56 started for the fourth time from the pole position of class SP7. In class CUP3 two Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport competed in the race for the BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction. Number 943, which was driven by Stefan Karg, Fidel Leib and Runar Vatne, qualified on the sixth rank in its class. The sister car (#942) of „Sugar Mountin“ and Aurel Schoeller started from  tenth place. Schoeller celebrated his premier on the Porsche Cayman GT4 CS. In class H4 Jürgen Bleul, Carsten Knechtges and „Takis“ in the Porsche 977 GT3 Cup #600 started from the second place into the four-hour race.

Scheerbarth and Toril in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup BF #56 made a brilliant job during the day. Although the difficult conditions, the duo made no mistake for the whole distance. Thanks to the outstanding performance of the drivers  and the flawless pit stops, the „Geutebrück“-Porsche worked its way forward to the sixth place overall and scored the third victory in the fourth race of the season. Therefore the car was again the best not-GT3-Car. Both Porsche Cayman GT4 CS had two unproblematic races, too and finished in seventh (#943) and tenth (#942) place in CUP3. In class H4 the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup of Bleul, Knechtges and „Takis“ had a smaller accident in the opening hour. Bevor this occurrence, the trio was right behind the leader of their class. After a stop to fix the small damage they could proceed the race and took third place in the class.

„We are very happy, that we could bring all cars to the finish without bigger damages. Sometimes there was aplenty water on the track and we had some Nordschleifen newbies in our cars. For them it was a very special challenge. Moreover we could win the class SP7 for the third time in four  races. With the Mercedes-AMG GT3 more would have been possible, but the technique thwarted our plans. But in the end, we are pleased with the results!“ said team principal Alexander Böhm after the race.
