Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON BMW M4 GT4

BLACK FALCON kicked off the 2024 racing season with an impressive performance and took class victories in both the CUP2 and SP8T classes of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The unusually summery temperatures created perfect conditions for spectacular duels and thrilling racing action, which put the fans around the track in a great mood. BLACK FALCON entered both new and established drivers and vehicles in the NLS double-header and can be more than satisfied with the opening weekend.

BLACK FALCON Team 48 LOSCH takes class victory
The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with starting number 148 competed in the NLS 1 and 2 with regular drivers Tobias Müller, Noah Nagelsdiek and Steve Jans in the CUP2 PRO class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). Starting from second position in Race 1, the drivers proved to be more than a match for the competition and were in third place shortly before the end of the race when the two leaders lost their places due to a collision. After a turbulent race, various time penalties were imposed, which also affected the #148. In the end, the team finished in a conciliatory fourth place.
The second NLS race on Sunday was characterised by an outstanding performance from the team and drivers. Steve Jans made a confident start to the first stint from P2 and handed the car over to Nagelsdiek in a good position, who continued the race quickly and safely. After the driver change to Müller, an enthralling duel broke out, which - broadcast live by the NLS helicopter - kept the spectators in suspense for several laps. The team made the right decision when it came to playing poker with the refuelling quantity, which allowed Müller to stay within striking distance of the leading car. With a perfectly executed overtaking manoeuvre just a few metres before the home straight, Müller ultimately secured an impressive class victory for the team in the fiercely contested CUP2 class.

Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON celebrates first class victory

During the first race on Saturday, they were leading the class field confidently when damage to the front axle forced the M4 into the pits. After the overnight repair, the driver and team showed fighting spirit and determination to finally clinch victory in the second race. With a confident and faultless performance by all four drivers, Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON ultimately secured P1 in the SP8T class and thus the first class victory since the team joined the NLS in 2023.

BLACK FALCON Managing Director Alexander Böhm on the first NLS weekend:
"After a turbulent race on Saturday, Sunday was a complete success for us.The hard work of the drivers and team was rewarded with two class victories and the cars have hardly a scratch, which makes our preparations for the 24h Qualifiers weekend much easier. I am particularly pleased with the result for our partners BILSTEIN and LOSCH, who have both been very involved in preparing for the season. In addition, the co-operation with Four Motors worked very well right from the start and the new drivers performed excellently. All this makes us very optimistic for the upcoming challenges, the ADAC 24h Qualifiers next weekend and the ADAC RAVENOL 24-hour race at the end of May."
