Daniel Schwerfeld und Axel Sartingen als Sieger mit Pokal auf dem Podium der ADAC GT4 Germany auf dem Nürburgring 2022, BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR

At the home race at the Nürburgring, BLACK FALCON celebrated numerous achievements in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland (PCCD) and in the ADAC GT4 Germany. Carrera Cup youngster Loek Hartog finished on the podium in third place on Sunday after fourth place in Saturday's race. Team-mate Carlos Rivas won both races in the PCCD ProAm classification after a dominant performance throughout the weekend. ProAm teammate Sören Spreng was also on the ProAm podium on Saturday with second place in class, securing BLACK FALCON's second ProAm one-two of the year. In addition, Axel Sartingen and Daniel Schwerfeld celebrated their long-awaited first win of the season in the ADAC GT4 Germany Trophy classification on Saturday.

Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland: Podium finish, ProAm one-two and important points

At the Nürbugring, Loek Hartog (#4) started the ninth round of the PCCD season on Saturday from fourth place. At the start, the 19-year-old initially lost one place, but he managed to reclaim it in the course of the race. Hartog finished fourth after 20 laps and collected important championship points. On Sunday, the Dutchman started the race from third place. After a hectic opening period, an intense fight for third place developed, involving more than five competitors at times. After a series of duels lasting several laps, Hartog finally pulled away decisively and celebrated his third place overall on the podium.

Carlos Rivas (#6) had a perfect weekend at the Nürburgring. After a very strong free practice with an overall position of 10th, the Luxembourger secured the fastest ProAm lap time twice in qualifying. Rivas was unbeatable in the races on both Saturday and Sunday. The three-time ProAm champion remained faultless, secured maximum points and reduced the gap to the current ProAm championship leader from 36 to just 7 points.

Sören Spreng (#5) was driving strongly throughout the weekend and secured grid positions 3 and 2 in class in qualifying. On Saturday, Spreng drove an almost perfect race and crossed the finish line in second place behind team-mate Rivas. BLACK FALCON thus celebrated the second ProAm double victory in the team's history. On Sunday, Spreng was spun around by a competitor in the opening stages.  Despite considerable damage to the car, Spreng still scored important points in seventh place in the ProAm standings and thus remains in third place in the ProAm championship.

ADAC GT4 Germany: BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR celebrates first win of the season At BLACK FALCON's home race at the Nürburgring, BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR celebrated the first victory of the season with the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS (#33) in the Trophy classification. Axel Sartingen and Daniel Schwerfeld started the race on Saturday from fourth position. Starting driver Sartingen laid the foundation for a good result with a strong performance, before Schwerfeld set off a real firework in the second stint by bringing the TEXTAR Cayman into the lead and not relinquishing it again until the end - the long-awaited first victory in the Trophy classification. On Sunday, the duo was also well in the mix for a long time before the Cayman was relegated to fifth place at the end due to a puncture.

Timo Frings, Head of Motorsport at BLACK FALCON:
"A strong weekend for the whole team, a big compliment to everyone involved. To achieve so many successes at our home race is of course a special highlight. We now travel to Lausitz with a lot of tailwind, where the next Carrera Cup weekend is already on the agenda in a fortnight' time."
