Blancpain GT Series
Encouraged by the success of the Blancpain Endurance Series, the world-renowned Swiss watchmaker Blancpain and the SRO Motorsports Group decided at the end of 2013 to expand their partnership to include an additional sprint series. Touted as an FIA GT series, teams and drivers are given an opportunity to race for the "Blancpain GT Series" title, which is divided into a sprint and endurance series.
The Blancpain Sprint Series consists of five events with two races per event over a race distance of one hour. Particular emphasis is placed on the promotion of future talent, who can compete for the Silver Cup and Sean Edwards Trophy within the framework of the Pro-Am Cup.
The focus of the Blancpain Endurance Series, which consists of five events, with the Total 24 race in Spa as the highlight, is to race GT3 cars in endurance races over a distance of three hours with two mandatory pit stops.
The Blancpain Endurance Series and Blancpain Sprint Series each consist of separate valuations with separate titles. The two series for teams and drivers that participate in both racing series are summed up as "Blancpain GT Series”.
ADAC 24h race and qualifying at the Nürburgring
The ADAC Zurich 24h race at the Nürburgring is one of the most traditional events in international motorsports. Teams and drivers come to the Nürburgring from around the world every year to fulfil their dream of participating in this event.
Since 2013, a 6h qualifying race is also held prior to the event to enable teams and drivers to get used to the changed track layout and the working conditions in the dark.
The 24h race at the Nürburgring is a must for any racing driver, a "once-in-a-lifetime" event, although most of them will not only compete once in a lifetime!
For Black Falcon this event is quite simply the highlight of each racing season, where numerous classes and categories could be won in the last 10 years. The overall victory with the SLS AMG GT3 is the greatest success in Black Falcon history to this day.
VLN Endurance Championship
The VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring is a popular sports car series and has been held at the Nürburgring Nordschleife since 1977. Drivers of various vehicles – from standard cars to thoroughbred racing cars – compete against each other in various classes. The races take four to six hours and are carried out on the Nordschleife in conjunction with the sprint course (short loop) of the Grand Prix circuit. On average, more than 175 vehicles take part in the races, which are usually driven by several drivers taking turns at the wheel.
Creventic 24h Series
The 24 Series of the promoter Creventic consists of 6 long-distance races. In addition to 12-hour races, several 24-hour races are also held. The most famous race of this series is the 24 Hours of Dubai, which traditionally rings in the new season.
The familiar atmosphere during the race events is a particularly distinguishing feature of the racing series. Furthermore, the events are very well planned and prepared by the organizer. In addition to amateurs, semi-professionals and professionals, gentleman drivers also take part, thus providing a colourful field of starters. The different classes are also particularly colourful: along with the latest GT3 cars, a variety of GT and touring cars are also included.
All in all, the 24h series is a very attractive race series for drivers who want to expand their 24 hours and endurance experience further. In addition, the individual races take place at well-known, but also demanding racetracks.
