BLACK FALCON will be competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany for the sixth year in a row in 2022. After an almost perfect season in 2021, which culminated in winning the Rookie and ProAm championships, the team from Meuspath has great ambitions for this year as well. In the fight for the podium places in the overall standings, BLACK FALCON will send reigning rookie champion Loek Hartog into contention. The 19-year-old Dutchman will once again receive special support as part of the "Talent Pool" programme of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. Hartog will compete in the number 4 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup and, in addition to podium finishes, has his sights set on his first overall victory. In the number 5 car, Sören Spreng returns to the Porsche Carrera Cup after a break of several years. The 35-year-old from Hemer prepared intensively for his comeback in Germany's fastest one-make cup last year and already competed as a guest entrant in the season finale at the Hockenheimring. In preparation for the season, he already participated in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East this winter. Spreng competes in the ProAm classification for drivers without a professional background in motorsport and faces Carlos Rivas, who drives the third BLACK FALCON car with the starting number 6. Rivas crowned himself ProAm champion for the third time in a row last season with eleven race wins. Since 2017, the 45-year-old Luxembourger has celebrated 39 class wins together with BLACK FALCON, making him the most successful ProAm driver in the history of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. This year, this statistic shall be extended with further victories and the fourth title.
