BLACK FALCON secured three podium finishes at the eighth and penultimate round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The BLACK FALCON drivers defied the most difficult conditions: At times, heavy rain posed a great challenge to the drivers in their slick-tired cars. Team and drivers reacted calmly and mastered the situation without changing to rain tires. In the end, the team from Meuspath celebrated its fourth victory in the fifth race in the AM classification of the CUP2 class and finished third in the PRO classification. In the fiercely contested VT2-RWD class, the team achieved its first podium finish in just the third race with third place.
BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA finishes third after strong performance
Ben Bünnagel and Noah Nagelsdiek showed an impressive performance at the eighth race of the season. Qualifying once again turned into a gamble due to numerous Code 60 situations. Starting from 6th place, Bünnagel at the wheel of the BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#102) made up a few places in the first stint and set the same times as the front runners. The duo established themselves in the leading group as the race progressed. After a thrilling battle for third place on the podium, the #102 finally crossed the finish line in third place and eighth overall.
BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR celebrates fourth victory in fifth race
After the class victories at NLS 4, 5 and 7 Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana and Mike Stursberg celebrated the class victory in the CUP2-AM at the eighth NLS race as well. The trio, which had only started the season at the fourth race, once again left the competition no chance. After a very good start, Piana handed over the wheel to Stursberg for another strong stint. Then Kaya went into the car, who remained faultless despite the onset of rain and the most difficult conditions. Finally, Piana once again took the wheel of the #103 and brought the 911 to the finish line as class winner in CUP2-AM and 11th overall.
The Mercedes-AMG GT4 (#140) of Florian Wahl, Tobias Wahl and Reinhold Renger did not finish after an accident.
BLACK FALCON Team BILSTEIN takes last-minute podium place
YouTube stars Jimmy Broadbent, Steve Brown and Misha Charoudin returned to the BMW 330i (#503) at NLS8 after a turbulent 12h Nürburgring. The trio drove a strong race and managed to improve constantly. On the final lap, after an outstanding double stint, final driver Broadbent pulled off the decisive overtaking maneuver for third place - the first podium for the young BLACK FALCON Team BILSTEIN.
The NLS season finale will take place on Saturday, October 07, and will again run over four hours.
