24h Qualifying Race - Race Report

BLACK FALCON achieved an excellent team result at the "ADAC Qualifying Race 24h-Race". The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR (#350) started in the SP-PRO class for BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA and crossed the finish line in 26th position overall as the best non-GT3-based car. In the CUP3 class, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 (#308) of the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR secured the class win after a thrilling duel over six hours of racing.

In the qualifying race, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR (#350) of BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA started with "Jens", Max Kronberg, Carlos Rivas and Bob Wilwert. While BLACK FALCON regular driver Rivas used the qualifying race as preparation for his entry in the 24-hour race, his teammates "Jens", Kronberg and Wilwert each competed in their first race in the fast 991 Cup MR. The driver quartet drove a flawless race and finished in 26th position overall as the fastest car outside the significantly more powerful GT3 classes.

The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 (#308) of the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR completed a perfect dress rehearsal for the 24-hour race in the qualifying race. In the CUP3 class, which is reserved exclusively for identical Porsche Cayman GT4 cars, Alexander Akimenkov, "Iceman", Vasilii Selivanov and Tobias Wahl secured a hard-earned class victory. In the process, Akimenkov and Selivanov celebrated a perfect comeback to Team BLACK FALCON after a 19-month forced break due to travel restrictions. The same team will now compete in the 24-hour race in four weeks' time in the best possible preparation.
